Gary K has over 20 years of experience as an addiction counselor, educator, and advocate. Clean and sober since 1996, he is an author for Hazelden Publishing (Walk the Talk with Step 12), playwright (Pass It On: An Evening with Bill W. & Dr. Bob), and the subject of the award-winning documentary Gary K One Step at a Time.

As both an actor and educator, Gary has a rare gift for connecting with audiences. He blends the neurobiology of addiction with the spiritual solution found in 12 Step recovery — showing how action can literally change the brain and open the door to lasting sobriety.
